Big Lottery Grant Success
Eastleigh Air Cadets have been successful in receiving a grant of £9400 from the Big Lottery.
The Grant is to enable as many cadets as possible to join the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme. In so doing the cadets will assist the local community in a variety of ways.
The grant includes the purchase of expedition equipment, two-way radios, Mapyx digital mapping devices, adventure training activities, sports equipment and funding for Outdoor Leaders Courses.
At the end of the project, in October 2012, the squadron will hold a Celebration Presentation Event.
