There is a Air Cadet Squadron in most towns throughout the country supporting in excess of 36,000 young people between the ages of 13-20 years. Every squadron has the support of the Royal Air Force which. for Hants & Isle of Wight Wing, comes from RAF Odiham.  Royal Air Force Odiham

RAF Odiham is the designated Parent Station for all Squadrons in Hants and Isle of Wight Wing providing support in terms of supply, equipment and station facilities to our units.

RAF Odiham is situated in North Hampshire, 46 Miles south west of London. The nearest large town is Basingstoke 7 miles to the West. The working population of the Station is about 2,000, of which around 100 are civilians.

Royal Air Force Odiham operates three Support Helicopter (SH) squadrons and one Army Air Corps (AAC) Lynx squadron. A conversion flight is incorporated in one of SH squadrons. The flying units are supported by Engineering & Supply Wing, which provides 2nd line aircraft & equipment support, and by Administration Wing, which manages the Station infrastructure. The Chinook Wing Headquarters is responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of operational and logistic output and also manages the airfield services.
