Three cadets from Hampshire & IoW Wing were awarded Corps Blues for Hockey after being selected for the ATC team which played the annual representative match against Tamworth Ladies Hockey Club. The three were Cadet Fiona James from 1391 (Romsey) Squadron, Cadet Sergeant Sophie Gale, 2495 (Hythe) Squadron and Cadet Flight Sergeant Kathy Morten (Goalkeeper), 424 (City of Southampton) Squadron. They had all previously played in the Wing team which won the South West Region senior hockey trophy and in the South West Region team which won the Corp inter-region tournament. The match, which was won this year by Tamworth, was played at the Defence College of Aeronatical Engineering at Cosford in Shropshire on 9th May.
