This trophy is awarded to the unit that has contributed the most to the success of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wing in the sporting arena during the 2007 – 2008 Season. Points are issued to the Squadron on the following basis.
Position in a Wing competition – Swimming, Cross Country & Athletics
One point for attending a sports trial.
Two points for playing in a Wing team.
Four points for playing in a Region team.
Six points for playing in a Corps team.
These points are then divided by the Squadron status as at the September stats return.
This year the result came down to the last event of the Competition, inter-Region athletics held at DCAE Cosford on the 21st June.
