Totton Air Cadets looked no further than their own doorstep and found a wealth of very interesting places to visit just a few miles from their own unit.

They spent the day in Winchester visiting many of the military museums to be found in this historic city:

The Museum of the Adjutant Generals Corps
The Museum of the Royal Hampshire Regiment
The Museum of the Kings Royal Hussars
The Ghurkha Museum
The Museum of the Royal Green Jackets
The Museum of the Light Infantry.

Civilian Instructor Matt Mussett commented:

"The day was very good, very interesting and the cadets thoroughly enjoyed themselves, making it a worthwhile day out, and all right on our own doorstep!"
