1189 (Portsmouth) Squadron have, with the kind permission of the Commodore, HMS Sultan, arranged the "Hampshire Historic Helicopter Haul" (4H) as an unusual fund raising event for Squadrons and the Air Cadet Organisation.  It will take place between 0830 and 1700 on Saturday 15 Mar 08 at the Parade Ground, HMS Sultan, Gosport.

Squadrons wishing to partake in the event will need a minimum of; 8 x Cadets and 2 x Adult Staff.  Each Squadron team will attempt, with assistance from other Squadron teams, to haul a Wessex helicopter as far as possible in 6 hours.

Additional Adult Staff are required to carry out support duties for the event such as, First Aiders, Security co-ordinator and assistants, as well administrative and statistical Staff.

All interested personnel are to reply in writing to; Fg Off T R Dolley at 1189 Sqn no later than Thursday  24 Jan 08, giving an estimate of Cadet and Staff numbers attending, along with the names of any volunteers for the support duties positions.
